Most upscale conservative men would turn their noses up at the thought of hiring a nationally known Image Consultant, and I must admit that I once was one of them. For the past 40 years I have owned my own business, and have become very respected in the community, and entertainment production industry here in London. Growing up and living my entire life in the Hollywood Hills of California, I am very aware of the power one’s image has in the public eye. I know this is a long testimonial, but if you are truly interested in any kind of makeover you will want to read this. This has been my experience.

My name is Tami, I am a wife, mother, and a hair color specialist with my own business. I live an average, relatively modest life style. I consider myself to be independent and self motivating. I try to eat right and exercise between 3 and 5 hours a week. Despite my efforts, I was unable to loose the weight on my legs and inherited "saddlebags." A friend had recently told me about Wendy Brown and Fashion With Confidence (FWC) and suggested that I call. After speaking with Wendy, I realized that she has really done her research. I would not have to worry about choosing the best most qualified surgeon for my procedure. There are a ton of doctors out there; this is not something you would want to search the yellow pages for. Wendy informed me, her fee included my meeting the doctor, from the first consultation, to surgery, and a constant line of communication, that she would be there with me "every step of the way." I really thought I could do this on my own; however, Wendy knows the best of surgeons and this was a big one.

That was just the beginning. I hired FWC and Wendy became my consultant. We spoke on the phone, arranged my consultation, and went together to that consultation. She explained what to expect and that we would be scheduling a surgery date. I was so excited. Time seemed to pass so slowly, six weeks later, my pre-op appointment, Wendy was there. Two weeks later, surgery, the big day, now I was nervous. You can talk to family and friends about this, but they just don't get it. After all, this is elective. I was a little nervous about anesthesia, how much pain I would have and not being there for my family. Wendy literally held my hand, calmed my nerves by reassuring me with these doctors and nurses, what highly skilled hands I was in. The next thing you know, I was in my "twilight sleep," received my epidural at some point and then I was very comfortably resting. Little did I know three hours had past? I woke up and there was Wendy holding my hand. "Hi skinny, how do you feel?" she asked. My response, "I am so excited!" with a voice of drunken soldier. Shortly after being wheeled to recovery my body began shaking, for whatever reason. Wendy never left my side. She called for the nurse. Wendy then reminded me of some breathing techniques that would calm me. She then began talking about other things that kept my mind occupied and made me respond to her questions. I was now beginning to realize how much I really needed her there. I knew she has been where I am, she knows my fears, my concerns, my questions almost before I did. I decided to stay over night in the hospital. (lipo-sculpturing can be messy with oozing and such) Wendy had been with me at least eight hours that day and yet that evening she called just before I went to sleep. I did not sleep well that night. Talked to Wendy bright and early the next morning, Wendy figured I probably would not have had a good night and then arrived at the hospital at 7:30 that morning to bring me home. There she was with my favorite coffee drink in hand and a danish for me. She would not let me leave unless I ate. When we arrived at my home she got me comfortable and left me in my husband's capable hands. For the next three days we were in constant phone contact. Sometimes several times a day, answering questions and reassuring me. On the fourth day post-op, although I had been very well taken care of by my family, I began to panic. I was very swollen, uncomfortable, my fingers began to go numb, and I could not release my bladder, I know it sounds weird. I was freaking out! I thought to call the emergency after hour's service, but I really did not want to go back to the hospital. I called Wendy. She was in the car on her way back home from a conference where I learned later she had been all weekend. She pulled the car over and with calm and reassurance she got me to stop crying. She asked me questions about my condition, assessed the situation (I was having a panic attack) and after an hour on the phone, she actually had me laughing by the end of that conversation. This was a crucial moment in my recovery. Again thank God I had someone to talk to. What would I have done without her (Wendy)?
I am now eight days post-op, lots of swelling, still pretty sore, but is all going down slowly. How do you tell your surgeon that you still "feel like a cow," you don't, you call Wendy. Again there she was, on my door step, completely unexpected, telling me how great I look, and that I still have a skewed self-image. She actually demanded I try on her "size 2" pants. I thought she was crazy! After all I began this as a size 6-8. I even accused her of lying to me to make me feel better. Low and behold, those pants fit, no way! Well, then came tears of joy and of realization, of what I would really look like in the next five weeks, when most of my swelling is gone! I hugged Wendy, with the biggest of bear hugs and told her how much she has meant to me. She was truly there "every step of the way." We still remain in contact to this day. Bottom line, the make-over procedure can be long and extremely emotional. I personally would not consider any other cosmetic surgical make-over procedures without Wendy Brown and FWC by my side.

I needed advice and help in changing or updating my appearance and enhancing my self confidence. After a consultation with Wendy, I decided to go for the full make-over. It was a very scary decision for me.

I am a Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in a Fortune 500 Company, responsible for 3 divisions which entails traveling all over the world. I was very apprehensive to go under general Anastasia and Wendy made certain that prior to her bringing me in to meet the Doctor, she had already informed him about my fears.
